Pull-Down Models

In addition to holding the workpiece in place, pull-down clamps also generate pull-down action, pressing workpieces down onto the fixture base.

The most traditional model is a double-wedge pull-down clamp with both, serrated and smoooth jaws available.

Another model is a single-wedge pull-down clamp (photo: on the right), which is a standard single-wedge clamp turned upside down combined with a pull-down set - a combination of a plate and a bushing.

While single-wedge clamps keep workpieces tight in one place, preventing upward and downward movement, double-wedge clamps generate a pull-down effect, pressing the workpieces downwards onto the fixture base.

DK2-WT comes with serrated jaws.

The inch model code is DK2-WTI.

The FK2-WT model with its extreme clamping force of 150 kN is a strongest model in our low-profile clamps range.

While single-wedge clamps keep workpieces tight in one place preventing upward and downward movement, double-wedge clamps generate a pull-down effect, pressing the workpieces downwards onto the fixture base.
